The first review is of "My Darling, My Dear" so I decided to read this because I like love stories and I know the person who wrote it.
Pros: It was super cute and cheesy. I like the picture of the heart puddle it was a nice touch. It is unlike any graphic novel I've ever read before. It's strength was that it was a real life experience that brought joy to the two people involved. The happiness and joy were clear in the graphic novel.
Cons: It was too cheesy! I didn't particularly like all the photos as the artwork. I also felt rushed and I felt it needed more dialogue/content.
The second review is of "Alice". I really like the book Alice in Wonderland I decided to read the graphic novel based off of it.
Pros: It had a good solid story and the artwork was decent. I also really liked the twist and how the characters she killed in "Wonderland" are representations of who she killed in real life.
Cons: I didn't like how the comic was dispersed from panel to panel. I had a difficult time reading it. I also found a lot of spelling errors that bothered me.
